Pam Hogg has long held the title of queen of the skin-tight cat-suit, so Rock’N’Roll, so Joan Jett, and rightfully so! This season’s theatrical show was walked by Daisy Lowe and Alice Dellal – darlings of the London Set – and watched by everyone from Boy George to Paloma Faith to Siouxsie Sioux and every rockin’ person in-between.
Show-stopping sculptured gowns, military detailed capes and high-waisted trousers and the synonymous jumpsuit were all over the catwalk. Bondage also popped up as a theme – one model was strapped into a black belted barely-there number with a flock of black taxidermied birds perched on her head. A more subtle belted knit look in grey and black, worn with an a-line swing skirt was given edge by hardcore PVC boots.
Fearless, as always, Hogg brought the crowd to rapturous applause and had Faith note that ‘This was my favourite show of all London Fashion week.’
