Working the Tribal trend on silk prints and embellished wedges, the models strode out to a ferocious base line. Lace and leather were mixed up with a dash of crepe-de chine to create a textural collection. Body-conscious with a sculptural twist, the look veered between conceptual grace and aggressive edge.
Pale faced models with startling red contact lenses and twisted, braided fringes worked the sacral patterned silhouettes. Lengths veered between super-short and maxi. A printed silk number with a lace underlay was a strong look. Bolstered by ferocious wedges – fur trimed, draped in jewellery and studded they embodied the spirit of the collection. Peaked shoulders and leather tailoring added to the strength of Belle Sauvage’s, mostly sombre toned – other than a dappling of yellow – collection. The look was given a demure twist with elbow and bracelet length sleeves.
